Call For Paper 2026


We are thrilled to announce the inaugural publication of Vol. 3, No. 1 of Help: Journal of Community Service (HJCS). This landmark edition marks the beginning of our journey to advance scholarship and practice in the field of community engagement and service.

In this issue, we present a diverse range of articles that delve into critical issues, innovative approaches, and best practices in community service. From insightful analyses of community engagement initiatives to reflections on social justice and equity, each contribution offers valuable insights and perspectives for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers alike.

Highlights from Volume 1, Issue 1 include:

- Community Engagement Initiatives: Explore case studies and evaluations of community-based projects and collaborative efforts aimed at addressing local needs and enhancing community well-being.

    CALL FOR PAPERS – DECEMBER 2026 EDITION

    Help: Journal of Community Service (HJCS) invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to submit original manuscripts for its December 2026 Edition. HJCS is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to community service, community empowerment, capacity building, and sustainable community development.

    HJCS welcomes manuscripts employing Participatory Action Research (PAR), Community-Based Research (CBR), Service Learning (SL), and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), as well as other relevant approaches to community engagement and social transformation. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts through the official HJCS Online Journal System (OJS) in accordance with the journal's author guidelines. Join us in advancing impactful community service and sustainable development through scholarly contributions.

    Help: Journal of Community Service (HJCS) (ISSN Online: 3048-3069, DOI: 10.62569/hjcs) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their work for the June 2026 Edition (Vol. 3 No. 1). The journal focuses on community service and development through Participatory Action Research (PAR), Community-Based Research (CBR), Service Learning (SL), and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD).

    We welcome research articles, case studies, and practitioner reflections related to community empowerment, innovative service models, and university–community collaborations. The submission deadline is May 30, 2026, notification of acceptance will be on June 20, 2026, and the issue will be published on June 30, 2026.
