Peer Review Process
Publication Process at the Involvement International Journal of Business
At the Involvement International Journal of Business, our publication process is designed to ensure a seamless and rigorous journey from manuscript submission to online publication.
-
Submission by Author
- The author uploads the article through the OJS system, completes the metadata, and ensures the article aligns with the journal's scope and template requirements.
-
Initial Screening by the Editor
- The editor reviews the article to check its relevance to the journal's scope and its overall quality.
- The article is then checked using Turnitin to evaluate the similarity index. The Turnitin report is uploaded to the submission dashboard. If the similarity index is below 20%, the article proceeds to the review process.
-
Review Process (Double-Blind Review)
- Articles that pass the initial screening are sent to reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The process is conducted as a double-blind review, meaning the identities of both authors and reviewers are anonymized to ensure objectivity.
- The review process typically involves two rounds (rounds) to ensure the article meets the journal's quality standards:
- Round 1: Reviewers provide feedback for revisions to the author.
- Round 2: The revised article is reviewed again to confirm that it meets all necessary standards.
- Articles deemed satisfactory after the first round may be approved without requiring further rounds.
-
Copyediting Process
- Once approved by the reviewers, the article moves to the copyediting stage, where the language, formatting, and references are thoroughly checked and adjusted to meet the journal's standards.
-
Publication
- Articles that have completed the editing process are published according to the journal's schedule. Publications can be made immediately available (open access) or released with subscription access, depending on the journal's policy.
