Submitted manuscripts must be original scholarly works and must not have been previously published in any journal, book, conference proceeding, or other publicly accessible scholarly publication.
Manuscripts must not contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, redundant publication, fabricated data, falsified information, or other forms of academic misconduct.
A manuscript submitted to IIJB must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
While a manuscript is under review or has been accepted for publication in IIJB, authors must not submit the same manuscript to another journal unless the submission has been formally withdrawn or the authors have received confirmation from the IIJB editorial office.
All manuscripts must be submitted through the official IIJB Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Manuscripts submitted by email or other informal channels may not be considered for peer review unless specifically requested by the editorial office.

Font size: 12 pt
Line spacing: 1.0
Article length: approximately 4,000–7,000 words
Approximate length: 10–20 pages, including tables and figures

Authors should follow the manuscript template for specific requirements concerning margins, headings, tables, figures, citations, and other formatting elements.
Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatical, and academically appropriate English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.
IIJB accepts scholarly manuscripts that are relevant to the journal's scope, including:
Original research articles;
Theoretical or conceptual papers;
Review articles; and
Critical analyses related to business and related disciplines.
The suitability of an article type is subject to editorial assessment.
IIJB uses a double-blind peer-review process.
To support anonymous peer review, authors must remove identifying information from the manuscript file submitted for review, including:
Author names;
Institutional affiliations;
Institutional addresses;
Email addresses;
ORCID iDs;
Author biographies; and
Other information that may directly identify the authors.
Author information should be entered accurately in the OJS metadata during submission.
Authors should also avoid self-identifying statements in the manuscript where possible. If self-citations are necessary, they should be presented objectively and in accordance with APA 7th Edition.
Manuscripts should be written in a clear academic and narrative style. Main headings should generally be presented without numerical numbering unless otherwise specified in the IIJB manuscript template.
Depending on the article type, manuscripts should generally contain the following sections:
The title should be concise, informative, specific, and clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.
The title should be written in English and should not exceed 20 words.
Authors should avoid unnecessary abbreviations and overly general expressions in the title.
The abstract should provide a concise overview of the manuscript and enable readers to determine its relevance.
For original research articles, the abstract should generally include:
Background or research context;
Research objective;
Methodology;
Main findings;
Conclusions; and
Where appropriate, the principal implications of the findings.
The abstract should:
Be written in English;
Consist of one paragraph;
Contain approximately 150–250 words; and
Avoid citations and unexplained abbreviations where possible.
Authors should provide a minimum of three keywords or keyword phrases that represent the main concepts, variables, research area, or theoretical framework of the manuscript.
Keywords should be separated by semicolons.
Authors should select specific and relevant keywords that improve the discoverability of the article.
The Introduction should establish the context and rationale for the study.
Authors should:
Provide an appropriate background to the research problem;
Explain the significance of the topic;
Review relevant and current literature;
Identify gaps, limitations, or unresolved issues in previous research;
Explain the contribution or novelty of the present study; and
Clearly state the research objective or research question toward the end of the section.
The literature review should be synthesized thematically or conceptually rather than presented as a study-by-study summary.
The Methods section should provide sufficient information to allow readers to understand and, where appropriate, reproduce the research process.
Authors should describe relevant aspects of the research design, including:
Research approach and design;
Population and sample or data sources;
Sampling procedures;
Data collection methods;
Research instruments;
Variables or constructs, where applicable;
Data analysis procedures; and
Ethical considerations, where applicable.
Previously published methods should be appropriately cited. Established procedures need not be described in excessive detail; however, any significant modification should be clearly explained.
The Results section should present the principal findings clearly and logically.
Authors should avoid unnecessarily repeating the same information in the text, tables, and figures.
The Discussion should interpret the findings rather than merely repeat them. Authors should explain how the findings relate to previous research, relevant theories, and the research objectives.
Where appropriate, the Results and Discussion sections may be combined.
Authors should clearly identify:
The principal findings;
Similarities and differences with previous research;
Theoretical implications;
Practical or managerial implications; and
Limitations or implications for future research, where relevant.
The Conclusion should directly address the research objectives or research questions.
It should summarize the principal contribution of the study without simply repeating the abstract or listing the results.
Where appropriate, authors may include the implications of the findings, limitations, recommendations, and directions for future research.
References must follow the APA 7th Edition style.
Authors should:
Cite only sources that have been directly consulted;
Ensure that all in-text citations appear in the reference list;
Ensure that all references in the reference list are cited in the manuscript;
Prioritize recent and relevant scholarly literature;
Include a substantial proportion of primary research sources;
Include relevant national and international journal articles;
Avoid excessive self-citation;
Avoid excessive citation of publications from a single author, institution, journal, or geographic region;
Verify every reference against the original source;
Provide complete bibliographic information; and
Include DOI URLs whenever a DOI is available.
IIJB recommends using reference management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
Authors are encouraged to consult recently published articles in IIJB as examples of appropriate scholarly structure and presentation.

Strategic resources can contribute to sustainable competitive advantage (Barney, 1991).
Trust and commitment are important foundations of relationship marketing (Morgan & Hunt, 1994).
Dynamic capabilities influence how firms adapt to changing environments (Teece et al., 1997).
According to Barney (1991), organizational resources may contribute to sustained competitive advantage when they possess specific strategic characteristics (p. 112).
Firm resources, dynamic capabilities, and market relationships have been widely discussed as important factors in strategic management and competitive advantage (Barney, 1991; Morgan & Hunt, 1994; Teece et al., 1997).
Authors should ensure that:
Journal titles and volume numbers are italicized.
Article titles use sentence case.
Book titles use sentence case and are italicized.
Journal issue numbers are placed in parentheses immediately after the volume number and are not italicized.
Page ranges use an en dash (–).
DOI links are presented in URL format.
Publisher locations such as New York, London, or Singapore are not included in APA 7th Edition references.

Avoid unnecessary vertical lines.
As a general principle, APA-style tables use minimal horizontal rules and do not use vertical borders between columns.
Figures may include graphs, charts, diagrams, photographs, conceptual models, or other visual materials.
Figures should:
Be numbered consecutively (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2);
Have an informative title or caption;
Be referred to in the main text;
