Involvement International Journal of Business (IIJB) is committed to transparency, accountability, academic integrity, and editorial independence in all aspects of its publishing activities. The journal maintains clear policies concerning revenue sources, advertising, sponsorship, and marketing activities to ensure that financial or commercial interests do not influence editorial decisions or the integrity of the scholarly publishing process.

1. Revenue Sources

The operation and publication of Involvement International Journal of Business (IIJB) are supported by the publisher, PT Agung Media Publisher, as well as resources allocated for journal management, editorial administration, website maintenance, digital publishing infrastructure, DOI registration, and other publication-related activities.

The journal may receive financial support from legitimate sources, including:

  • Publisher or institutional support;

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or other publication-related fees, where applicable and clearly stated;

  • Academic or institutional sponsorships;

  • Grants or research-support programs;

  • Donations or other legitimate forms of financial support; and

  • Other lawful sources consistent with the journal's academic mission.

All applicable author fees and publication charges shall be clearly communicated to authors before or during the submission and publication process. Financial considerations shall not influence peer-review outcomes, editorial decisions, acceptance, rejection, or publication priority.

2. Editorial Independence

The financial and business operations of IIJB are strictly separated from editorial decision-making.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on academic considerations, including the manuscript's originality, relevance, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, research integrity, and compliance with the journal's scope and publication ethics.

Neither advertising revenue, sponsorship, publication fees, institutional relationships, nor other financial considerations shall influence the decision to accept, revise, reject, or publish a manuscript.

Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff are expected to perform their responsibilities independently and to disclose and manage any potential conflicts of interest.

3. Advertising Policy

Involvement International Journal of Business (IIJB) may accept limited advertisements that are relevant to the journal's academic community, scholarly activities, conferences, academic services, books, educational programs, research-related initiatives, or other materials consistent with the journal's mission.

Advertisements must:

  • Be clearly distinguishable from editorial and scholarly content;

  • Not mislead readers, authors, reviewers, or the academic community;

  • Not contain inappropriate, deceptive, discriminatory, or unethical material;

  • Not interfere with access to scholarly content;

  • Not influence peer-review or editorial decisions; and

  • Not be presented in a manner that could be mistaken for editorial endorsement.

The journal reserves the right to reject advertisements that are inconsistent with its academic mission, ethical standards, or institutional values.

Advertising decisions are handled independently from editorial decisions. Advertisers and sponsors have no authority over the content, peer-review process, editorial decisions, or publication schedule of the journal.

4. Sponsorship Policy

IIJB may accept sponsorship or institutional support for academic activities, special issues, conferences, webinars, scholarly events, or other initiatives related to the journal's mission.

All sponsorship arrangements must be transparent and must not compromise the journal's editorial independence.

Sponsors shall not have the right to influence manuscript selection, peer-review results, editorial decisions, research findings, or the presentation of scholarly content.

Where appropriate, sponsorship shall be acknowledged transparently in the relevant publication or activity.

5. Marketing and Direct Marketing Policy

IIJB may conduct responsible marketing and communication activities to increase the visibility and discoverability of its publications and to communicate relevant information to researchers, academics, authors, reviewers, and other members of the scholarly community.

Marketing activities may include:

  • Announcements of newly published articles and issues;

  • Dissemination through the journal's official website and social media;

  • Academic newsletters and mailing lists;

  • Calls for papers and special issues;

  • Academic conferences, seminars, webinars, and scholarly events;

  • Communication with relevant academic institutions and research communities; and

  • Other appropriate scholarly communication channels.

All marketing communications shall be accurate, professional, relevant, appropriately targeted, and non-misleading.

The journal will not make false or exaggerated claims regarding indexing status, impact, acceptance rates, editorial board membership, publication opportunities, citations, or other academic achievements.

Direct solicitation of manuscripts, where conducted, shall be limited, appropriate, and consistent with the journal's academic scope. The journal will not engage in aggressive, deceptive, excessive, or misleading solicitation practices.

6. Separation of Marketing and Editorial Activities

Marketing and promotional activities shall remain separate from editorial decision-making.

Participation in promotional activities, sponsorship arrangements, advertising, or other commercial relationships shall never guarantee or influence manuscript acceptance or publication.

Authors, reviewers, and editors shall not be required to purchase advertising, sponsorship, or other services as a condition of manuscript consideration or publication.

7. Transparency and Accountability

IIJB is committed to maintaining transparent publishing practices. Information concerning publication fees, financial support, advertising, sponsorship, and relevant business practices will be communicated clearly whenever applicable.

The journal periodically reviews its revenue, advertising, and marketing practices to ensure compliance with recognized principles of transparency and ethical scholarly publishing.

Involvement International Journal of Business (IIJB) is committed to ensuring that financial sustainability supports, rather than compromises, the quality, independence, credibility, and integrity of its scholarly publishing activities.
